| grooming question? I have read that a yorkies nose should NOT be shaved. I was wondering should the groomer trim the hairs around the eyes? This may sound like a dumb question, but my groomer always trims the hairs near Pixie's eyes. Is she doing it right?

| It all depends on what you want. I prefer to let all the facial hair grow out. It will go through a phase where it will want to stick in the eyes, so you need to make sure its clipped back. But once its grown out, you don't have to worry about it anymore.

| I think I have been having her hair cut wrong. I didn't know it would go through an awkward stage. Gosh I am so unknowledgable when it comes to the Yorkie breed. UGH my poor Pixie she has her work cut out for her. Trial and error I call it. Her hair around her eyes was going in her eyes so the groomer trimmed it. what a pain to let that grow out!
