| I definitly prefer the puppy cut. My yorkie seems to like it too. She didn't seem to like it when I was just letting her hair grow long. |

| This is how we keep our Yorkie-Poo Crosley: We are into more of the short, puppy cut look for all three of our girls!

| Since we brought him home we were just getting Winston's sanitary area & face hair cut (food would stick to his chin if we didn't, and hair was growing into his eyes). We've done that two times already. Now his hair is WAY too long & curling up. He's going tomorrow for an all over cut & I will post a pic afterwards. I want them to do a puppy cut. |

| This is Bella 4 weeks after her first grooming. Mom was a Yorkie and Dad a white poodle. Please excuse her ears....first the left is up then the right, occasionally both! I think they give her character!

| I thought Ruger was so cute when I got him I took him right to the groomer and asked if she could make him look the same when he was ready to get cut. She told me it was a standard puppy cut, so that's what I'm going to do. I think they look cute when they're a little ratty looking. That said, I've seen some photos here of Yorkies with long hair that look incredible, but I'm not sure I want to go through that level of grooming. |

YT 2000 Club Member | I usually keep Tucker in the puppy cut too, but the last time he was groomed I kept his hair longer just had a trimming done. Everyone's pups are so cute and so different. Tucker's mom was a sable toy poodle and his dad was a Yorkie poo with the same coloring as a yorkie.. my "little" guy ended up all blonde.. his littermate was black. This is him, right after his grooming, laying next to his best buddy and "sister" my toy poodle Lexee... ...

| Winston came back from the groomers today. Here's a before & after. Before was last week when he was recovering from neutering. He looks really chubby. His hair was about 4 inches long on his body & curling up. Now the shaved him & it's about 1.5 inches long. I asked for a puppy cut & this is what we got. I'm not thrilled because his hair on his body looks kinda uneven. Might be because he has curly hair so it's growing in different directions, or bad grooming. Your opinion? |
