| How long shoud I wait after surgery??? Hi everyone, My lupo was neutered on friday (4 days ago). I bathed and fluffed and prettied him up the day he went in. He came home a) smelling kind of mediciney from the vets and b) looking pretty rough around the edges. I have been wiping (not really washing) his face with a warm wet cloth, and cleaned betadine and poo off his behind and his poor little pee pee as gently as possible. I didn't want to muck him about when he was feeling rough, but today I carefully gave him a bit of a brushing. He really needs a bath. Is it too soon? Should I wait til his stitches are out? I don't want to take him back to the vet for stitch removal all dirty, and the vet will think he's neglected.

| We were told not to get the stitches wet for at least 10 days.

| Aw poor guy, you can get some pet wipes that smell pretty good and help clean him up a bit!
