| What do I need? I want to start grooming my babies. I like to keep them in the puppy cut. What clippers are the best and what blades do I need to achieve the cut I'm looking for. Thanks for any help! |

| Andis, Oster, and Wahl are all good. It depends on how long you want your dog's hair for the blade length. Everyone's defenition of a puppy cut is different. In my album of Harley he's had several different lengths. When it was really short on his back, I used a #7F blade. When I was growing it out, but wanted to even it out I used a #3 3/4 FC blade. With his back hair longer, I use a snap on comb. I like the 0 or 1 on him (leaves it a couple inches long).
