| Well I have been using Super Dog. I really like them. She is super sweet and very good prices. She charges me $25 for my big boy and then I took my baby Bentley in for his first time and she just charges me $10 for him!

| Well, I took Shay to a Groomer this morning , in Knoxville TN....I am sooo DISSAPPOINTED! I talked to them first and BROUGHT A PICTURE TO BOOT! the lady would say something I would say nooo, like this in the picture,. well when I picked up shay it was a mad house, so I paid then they took me to him, picture was on outside of kennel, I got Shay out thought hmmmmm, it was rainging so got him in car carrier and away we went....well got home took one good look at him and could not believe it! nothing like the picture NOTHING, I called and said I am not happy with this cut, it is nothing like the picture! the women said you told us what to do, thats what we did, she was rude! and maybe monday they could look at it, as she kept saying I asked you this I asked you that..I said yes you did and I answered, and this was not the answer! I PAYED 52.96 FOR THIS HAIRCUT (TIP OF 5.00 IN THAT) Now I dont know where to go, to have it fixed! BECAUSE IT NEEDS TO BE FIXED! ANY ideas of where to take him would be greatly appreciated.... |

| Right now, I groom them myself, but with 4 yorkies and a maltese, it's quite a job. Three of them are less than a year old, so their hair isn't terribly long yet and I keep my maltese trimmed short, because her hair mats very easily.

| I took my maltese to Fancy Paws in Tazewell once early this year, but I had them shave her off short because she had mats. That's the only experience I've had with them.

| There is a vet's office that has a groomer there off of Homberg Dr. / Off Kingston pike I used one a couple years ago for a play dog show I was going to. They did a great job, were very friendly, and I think I paid like $30. Its a nice office too. If I think of the name, I will let you know, but you could probably Google it up! Welcome YT!

| I've heard both good/bad comments about Fancy Paws so I'm not sure about them. Were you happy with the results? |

| Personally, I groom mine myself. It has been a work in progress but when I started out I did the bathing myself and took my baby to Petsmart in Knoxville on a walk in basis and had the nails cut, behinds & ears trimmed. I felt that no one would be as gentle as Mama and that is less exposure to whatever is out there. I do not vaccinate for kennel cough. Grooming can be a traumatic experience for some dogs and personally I don't think it should be an all day deal or even 1/2 day. On the rare occasion that I had it done I thought they made my Yorkie look ugly!!! If you are interested in learning to do it yourself I come to Knoxville often or you could come by my place and I will show your and / or help you or do it for you. Everyone has their own preferences. You may just want to be able to drop your Yorkie off and pick it back up. Private Message me if you want to take me up on it.
