| Puppy Top Knots Hello! I am new to the board and I currently have a 9 week old morkie, more yorkie than maltese (I LOVE her pieces!!). I am definately wanting to do the top knot when my baby's hair is long enough but I was wondering if it would be ok/good to just band whatever hair on the top of her head just to get her used to it until the hair in between her eyes is long to pull back? Any suggestions are welcome too! |

| Absolutely! The best way to get her used to having a topknot is to start with a tiny lightweight band first, before you add a bow. Try giving her a special chew or a Kong afterwards to distract her. Before you know it, she will be ready for a big girl bow! |

| Yes, I found that was the easiest way for me to tie Libbies hair. You should got to walmart or target and get the tiny light weight bands. Don't get the rubber black kinds cause that can hurt when you pull it out.
