| are these clips ok for my yorkie's hair i don't know the name of these clips, but i find them to be easier to put on my yorkie's hair than the elastic bands. my yorkie's hair isn't that long yet and i find these stay on better. when i do put them on him, it feels a little tight at the base, but it's the only way it will stay on. is it ok if it's tight? how much breathing room do you give so that they don't become bald? how long do you normally leave clips/bows on your yorkie? is the whole day too much?

| The biggest concern with barrettes and clips is that they are a choking hazard. Please make sure to supervise her while she is wearing them. I always recommend bands to my bow customers for that reason. |

| I have all kinds of goodies, and until their hair gets longer, it's hard to use anything. I have the clips like that(but smaller), I have barretts with little bows on the front of them(aria makes them) I have the little claw clips, that they also get out right away. What I pretty much use are the little rubberbands with the cloth outsides, I get them for $1 for 300 of them at Family Dollar. I usually wrap them around 5 times, and then the next day when I change it out, I have to put a new one in, as they get all stretched out. But, I've tried everything, and to me, those by far are the best. I really don't like the rubberband/bows they put in at the groomers, as those rubberbands pull on their hair |

| try these clips I buy the mini clips from walmart. They are Goody brand and come about 12 to a pack with a whole rainbow of colors. It is in the hair clips aisle, but near the little girls section. They just raised the price to a bit over $2. Used to be a buck or so. They are always sold out because they are so cheap. I only use orange, red, black on Uni cuz those are her colors, haha. I use two at a time, both with the opening facing inwards. Very easy to control the amount of pouf you want. Yes always monitor them because sometimes Uni will scratch them out, then try to get them with her mouth. She's never got one in her mouth before, but it's funny watching her try. She looks up at it and tries to bite it. After a few laughs then i fix her hair. I've attached a pic of the clips she wears, they are the perfect size. Everyone always flips out when they see these little clips. These clips are one of my fave non dog brand things I've found. Whenever it's labeled as a dog clip the price goes up tenfold!

| I've been using the little Goody clips for well over 20 years...they're great! The best part is that you can bend the metal part of the clip to accommodate any thickness of hair, and also make it pretty much impossible to pop open. I've found the kind with the plastic backs don't work well at all...
