| I dont know about morkies but a thin coat on a yorkie is desired because it means it will be a silk coat

Donating YT 30K Club Member | According to my breeder, Pixie had a very sparse coat until she was about a year. I got her at 13 months and she has a beautiful silk coat,it is a little thin but looks great and is easy to care for. My other 2 had heavy coats as puppies and have cottony coats. Would love to see pics.

| She's too cute! Did you see both her parents? The reason why I ask is I've seen several Morkies and have also seen pics of Morkies at that age and haven't seen one that looks like your girl, although mixes can vary in the looks department. She looks more like the pics I've seen of Chorkies (Chihuahua - Yorkie)...please don't take offense but I can understand your concern. She may just end up being silky like others have stated. Congratulations either way...she is a doll!!

| I agree with velobabe. She looks more Chihuahua/Yorkie than Maltese/Yorkie. Both Yorkies and Maltese have quite a bit of coat at twelve weeks. It's impossible to tell with mixed breeds how they will look as adults, though. Maybe she's got red legged Yorkie in her genes? You might want to read this thread. She looks a lot like Ksena: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...-chuahuas.html |

| On the other hand, check out the pictures of my Zoey. She's a 15 month old, 4-1/2 lb, Yorkie-Chihuahua mix. It's really hard to see any Chi in her at all. Genetics are wondrous and confusing and sometimes unpredictable.

Well, what can I say...she's perfect. Not even any potty problems. Anyway, she was sold as a Chorkie. You think she's not? What does she look like to you?
