| Help with trimming around paws I just finished my first groom on my boy Harley. WOOOHOOO!!! I thought someone could maybe give me a tip on how to trim around the paw!! Do I just go around in a circle? I got in between the toes but I did a number on the hair on top!! My old groomer said to comb it to one side then cut and then to the other side and cut again. That's what I did I thought but???? Anyone have any ideas?

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I just trimmed around in a circle. I believe there was a video here showing how to groom. Maybe try typing grooming in search.

| For the top of the head, comb up the parts you want to cut, hold w/your 2nd & 3rd finger & cut only the top part. Kinda like how a hairdresser would hold your hair up b4 they cut it. For the paws, I use a curved scissor, but if you don't have one, straight one is fine. Leave his paws touching the floor (or table) trim around the paw holding the shears vertically. Not 40 degree angle or any angle, the scissor must be straight. I'll post pics of it later...can't find my camera at the moment.

| The 1st pic is trimming around paws...keep scissor vertical (or is it horizontal) to the table. 2nd pic, trimming the top...Momo has long hair, but that's how you hold it & you trim the top. To trim the hair (bang, visor) in front, just comb down (little at a time) & whatever hair that's covering the eyes, trim.
