| I'm no expert, but I use a comb I got from Sally's it has 3 rows of teeth. Chance doesn't mind it, it doesn't pull her hair. It didn't cost much either. |

| I couldn't do my three's coats without a Pin brush and a Sicker brush for working out tangles.......This is where a lot of people get their brushes, they're a bit pricey but when you consider they will last your many years it might be worth it.....I just got mine at the pet store......... Pin Brushes

Donating YT 10K Club Member | Buy the 20MM pin brush. Personally I don't think it's necessary to get the brass one.....I own the stainless steel.

| I love my Madan brush! After I got mine, I retired my CC Gold Series brush and gave my brand new CC Fusion away. |

| a good brush really DOES make all the difference!!! there are a couple different kinds of brushes/combs that i have.. all of these brushes, i use either daily or almost daily!! (they all really come in handy.. ESPECIALLY if you groom your own!!) love them!! (a lot of people use the Chris Christensen brushes-which are great!) i'm a hairstylist.. & use "HUMAN" hair brushes, on my girls!! since yorkies actually have HAIR and do not have an UNDERCOAT..i have found these brushes to work REALLY REALLY WELL, for BOTH my girls(one with a TON OF HAIR and a soft coat & the other with a silky coat!) the ones i use the most are: ** a pin brush (kinda like the chris christensen one) & similar to this: !brush.jpg ** a "rolling comb" (similar to the middle one below) the actual teeth "roll".. it does not cause damage or breakage to the hair.. i use it for a lot of things!! LOVE MY COMB!! !comb.jpg ** (MASON PEARSON) boar bristle brush & boar/nylon bristle brush.. the boar bristle brush, i have found best for silky coats.. the combo, boar & nylon bristle brush, i like better for thicker, soft, cotton, etc. coats! !masonpearson.jpg ! mp.jpg ** we use ice on ice, for their everyday brushing!! GREAT stuff, imo!! http://www.chrissystems.com/iceonice1.htm we do have a slicker brush.. but don't ever use it! the brushes/combs i listed above really do the trick!!! they are an investment..... but they make ALL the difference!!!! also, since they are professional brushes, they are "made to last"(with the proper care)!
