| Orangish-gold color coming out in her silver on her back...? I noticed recently that my one year old ella has golish orange color coming out on her back...in the mids of all of her silver. I finally cut all the black off...and I noticed it then. What is up with that? I've never seen such a thing. Anyone else have this happen? |

Thor's Human Donating Member | Thor is getting some bronze on his chest. It's kind of a different texture too, coarser.

| Yes I have noticed Casey turning goldish along her back. Maybe it's due to her age, she will be five next month! OMG! where has the time gone!!

YT Graphic Artist Donating Member | My Sapphire (17 months old) is still slowly changing from black to silver. I noticed that her silver has a reddish/gold tint to it -- more so than gray. I can't wait to see what color she ends up being. Her mother was more of a goldish color too. It doesn't show up that great in photos, as it is just starting to turn colors.

| Buster has a few specs of gold amongst the black (turning blue-grey) hair on his hips. It's sparse, and you can only see it if you look closely, but it's definitely there. |

| When you see gold hairs mixed in where it should be all steel blue it is referred to as 'running gold' and it is considered a fault. With puppies as they are getting their adult coat sometime you will see a reddish tint on the tips of the steel blue of the coat and that is usually just caused by hormones and will eventually go away. |
