| Hair dont grow My yorkie girl is 2 years and I have never needed to give her a haircut, and I want her hair to grow, but it is also like wire, Will it just not grow? |

| Are you sure she is a full-blooded yorkie? Could you post a photo of her? A lot of yorkies have slow growing hair but that is a long time to wait! |

Donating YT 10K Club Member | Red legged yorkies suffer from wirey type hair which doesn't grow. If that's the case then no, she's not going to get the long flowing coat.

| Her hair looks pretty long if you ask me. I'd say she needs a good conditioner and if you had her ears trimmed she would look like a proper yorkie. (Whatever a proper yorkie is - lol) That is close to the length I like to keep Adie at. Anyway she is adorable! I wouldn't worry about the length of her hair. Some of us would count ourselves lucky if we didn't have to worry about that. Skeeter's hair is so thick he will ALWAYS be in a puppy cut. Last edited by Lou; 02-04-2009 at 06:54 AM. |
