| Rocky is getting groomed tomorrow! So Rocky is getting groomed for a second time tomorrow from someone new. I am a nervous wreck...haha He is not a fan of getting groomed. He will sit still but when you do certain things like anything with his face or his tangles he goes crazy wiggling all over the place. He is not a fan of baths either but he is easy to handle with it, for me at least. I am so upset because I don't want him to be upset and I don't want the groomer to get frusturated with him. I have tried to brush him every day to get him used to it but I have been lacking doing it. He is fine until you hit a spot where it is tangled and then he goes nuts and I won't let him get away with hit. He used to not want you to brush him at all but has gotten a little better. Will he ever get better with grooming? He is 6 months and 2 weeks old right now. I keep saying to him please don't be mad at me tomorrow...haha This is a horrible week for him because he is getting groomed tomorrow and nuetered on Friday..haha I am such a baby with this stuff. I can't handle it. Last time he got groomed he passed out on the way home. Any comments to make me feel better are welcomed....haha Thank goodness my mom is coming with me because my husband has to work. I am really bad. Thanks for reading my rambling. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Just make sure the new groomer knows how he reacts to grooming so she/he can be gentle and patient. I have a grooming table and every night I put them each up there and brush them and do their teeth. It took awhile but they got use to it and sit still while they are groomed. Then they get a treat after when I say good groom. So just keep grooming him even if it's just for a minute or two a night until he gets use to it. Let us know how it goes!!
