| Wondering About Grooming I'm thinking about those who want to stay with their furbabies while at the groomer. Does the groomer work on your baby start-to-finish while you're there or does the groomer work a little, let the dog relax a little, work/relax, etc. until done?

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I groom mine myself, except once in a great while I take Cali and I took Roxie once. Pixie has never gone since she is a dream to groom. But with Roxie, it was her first time and I stayed while the groomer while she got the mats out of her, then I left and stayed in the area. The groomer called me 45 minutes later saying she was done and she looked great. I only go where they work one dog at a time.

| Some will let you stay. I used to groom professionally at a vet clinic, but now I groom from home. If a client was to ask, I would let them stay but they usually wanted to drop off and pick up after work. Now that I groom from home, they can stay if they want to while I do their dog or they can pick up later. If they pick up later, I let the dog play in my yard and groom the dog closer to when they want to pick up, since it only takes a couple hours (depending on how much they want done and how well they behave, etc.). Just ask the groomer if you can stay if that's what you want. If you want to stay, let them know ahead of time and they will do your dog start to finish while you watch.

| I have never really found a groomer that would let me stay. I'd love to though, so I can see what their doing, and pick up some tips for myself.
