| Showering with your yorkie Has anyone tried showering with you dog? Bean hates baths but is always trying to get in the shower with me, but I'm scared of getting water in her ears and eyes. |

Donating YT 14K Club Member | Mine shower with me all the time. They don't like it, but I figured, I could kill 3 birds with one stone! We've NEVER had issues with yeast in the ears from water.

| I do this all the time. What I do is that I bring him into the bathroom, I fully shower myself then I bring him the shower and grab the hand held attachment and shower him with that. I have never had any problems at all with it.

| We've had Finnigan take a shower with us, but he didn't like it. I don't feel like I got him as clean as I do when I bath him (he kept getting out from under the streams of water) so we went back to baths.

| I have acouple of mine if they get into the bathroom before I can shut the door closed so they can't push it open they will jump in with me, I can't keep them out of the shower with me. they only act like they hate it when it is colder or the airconditioning is going. Other wise they like it. |

| I do the same thing and it works great! He hated the bath so I brought him in with me one day and we was much calmer. Just make sure you get an ear cleaner with alcohol in it. The alcohol in it will dry up any water thats in there ear. Just before you get out of the shower, squirt a little his his ear and rub the base of the ear, let him shake the extra out and he's ready to go. If you don't make sure the water dries up, it could cause an ear infection. My vet had the ear solution, it wasn't too expensive and it comes in yummy smells. There's apple, peach, and mellon! lol

| I should try the shower thing with Emma. She is good with her bath but she loves to run and play when it is pouring rain.... maybe she will think it's rain.....? |

| We take showers, Lucy couldn't stand being washed in the sink. Pebbles is getting used to the shower This way, we get out & I dry the girls right away. I do have to get some of the ear cleaner that is for after the bath....

| I shower with all of mine sometimes and they don't mind as long as they can lick the water off my legs

| It's funny you ask this! A couple weeks ago my Mom turned the shower on and then went to get a towel, when she came back, she found Camden sitting in the shower with her head up towards it! I told her that's how she should get her bath, she loved it!
