Donating YT 10K Club Member | Cornmeal is really coarse...if I were substituting...I'd try powder first. Do you have any spray detangler? That works well too.

| I like the Ice on Ice and use it, but I also use Johnson & Johnson spray detangler for children. It works really well in a pinch if I'm out of everything else. Lucy mats really badly under her front legs and Rebel mats all over. I hated to, but I had Reb cut down into a puppy cut because I was constantly having to de-mat him. He's much happier now, but I really miss his long hair

| Tricksie is so active, she does not need long hair. She loves to roll and tumble, crawl under pillows, she's nuts. I just about have them all out.

| I'm a groomer and have found one of the best products on the market for matts is "Cowboy Magic". They have an entire line of shampoos and conditioner's, plus detanglers. The detangler works great. Matts will slide right out with a little bit of combing. Use a pin brush first after applying the dematter, then use a metal, wide tooth comb afterwards. Never brush a dry coat. Use a little conditioning hair conditioner spray to dampen coat before touch up brushing. Brushing a dry coat will cause it to break off. Hope this helps, Linda |

| My lil one has a long silky coat and when ever she wears her pj's at night she is always matted in the morning...can anyone tell me what they use on a silky long coat for matting just from wearing clothes?

| So glad you got them all out. I've been there before - I strongly recommend getting a bottle of Cloud Star's Buddy Splash -- I have recommended this to so many people, and everyone always agrees this stuff works magic - smells wonderful and the grooming tool slides thru the matts

Donating YT 500 Club Member | That's good to hear, and Tricksie looks very pretty all freshly brushed You can try satin/silk lined clothing and pj's and that will help some, but if they wear clothing long enough, the hair still mats.
