| Got a Pedipaws and I love it. I got it at my local Fruths store and so far 2 of my 5 yorkies are doing great with it. My female still needs some work and so do the 2 puppies but I can see advancement in just 3 days. I'm eventually going to get the Peticure because I think the batteries for this aren't going to last very long but otherwise it's well worth the money. |

| I've been thinking about buying Pedipaws but kind of want the Peticure. Has anyone tried both and which one do you prefer?

YT 2000 Club Member | So I used mine today on all 3 of my little ones and they all sat good for it, much better than they do for the clippers. I was still a bit unsure of it and was afraid I would take too much off so I did not go too short with it i was thinking of doing it again next week just to get slowly to the right amount taken off. But WOW, I loved it!

Missing Yoshi Everyday! Donating Member | i have the peticure and from what i am hearing the pedipaw is louder than the peticure...and the only disadvantage i can see about the pedipaw is that it only has 1 size hole...whereas the peticure has all different size going all around the guard...hehe but i am glad you like your pedipaw...

| I filed mine every night for 4 nights just making sure they are comfortable with it and I checked for the black dot noted on instructions I've read and haven't gotten close to it yet. The fact that they are smooth and not jagged and sharp is a definate plus and they do get used to it alot quicker than clippers. I will not be with out it again!!! |

I do not have the Peticure one, but I did not think that the pedipaw was that loud at all. I think it is a lot quieter than my trimmers that I have, so mine were not bothered by any sounds it made thank goodness! Its nice to know that the Peticure has the different size for the nails, If I had different breeds in the house then I really think that I would prefer that feature option.

| The pedipaw has only one hole and I haven't had any problems with it. I just lean the nail against the curving slot and the dremmel does the rest. It did'nt take me nearly any time to get used to it. I love it but will probably still invest in the Peticure since I have larger dogs as well and feel it will work best for them, but for the little ones this is working fine!!! |

| My Yorkie gets v e r y upset/nervous with paw grooming. HELP!! I have a four year old Yorkie who gets very nervous and upset with the grinding noise of the peticure and petipaws. I bought one of each and had to return them both because he would freak out when I came near him. PetSmart groomers refuse to trim his nails because he gets so upset and they were concerned about his "heart"!! I have to take him to the vet ($32.00) to have his nails and foot pads trimmed every three weeks. They suggested that I give him Benadryl 30 minutes before his appointment to help relax him. I don't want to give him medication just for grooming. Any recommendations would truly be appreciated. Thank you. Prince's mom Last edited by Princes mom; 11-16-2008 at 01:57 PM. Reason: Typo |

| Thank you so much for the quick response!!!!!!! My nephew recently told me about Rescue Remedy; he uses it for his Old English Sheep dog, and swears by it. I am having trouble finding it in my area so I may just order it online. Have you heard anything negative about it? Is it really safe? Thank you, Prince's mom |

| pedipaws I have a Pedipaws. Actually purchased it for my big Boxer. His nails are too big to insert into the nail hole on the cap. Its brand new, only turned it on to run for less than minute. I'm going to send it back. But thought, if someone on the board might be interested in purchasing it....let me know. Send me an email if anyone's interested to linkay12003@yahoo.com Hope everyone has a great week! Linda |
