| Ragamuffin I would like to know even though I brush my little Wiz several times a day he shakes and ...voila ..he is a little ragamuffin once again . I have several different combs and brushes and the end result is always the same . His coat always looks dry despite premium food , care and lots of love ...maybe this is just the way he is due to heredity .. any suggestions ? |

| Some of it can be genetics but with good nutrition and product you can help it out (just like with us humans!) First - what is the premium dog food you are feeding your Ragamuffin? 2. WHat shampoo and conditioner do you use? 3. DO you have problems with snarls/tangles/matts? 4. Does the coat have a "fluffy" problem? Meaning - is it hard to tame? 5. How old is your baby? 6. Do you give your baby nutritional supplements? I know it's frustrating! I have three and each of them have different type of hair. I have to deal with each one differently.

| Hi again . Wiz is 6 months old and just recently neutered . From day 1 I had him on Medical and PD development from the vet . Just recently , I am adding Royal Canine for tiny puppies as I read on this site it was a good food and it is available at my local Pet Valu .. we do not have a lot of the foods advertised on this site in my area . I have not tried any supplements .. should I ? I have taken to the grooming at my vet so I am not sure what product they use but here at home I have used Wahl Smart Groom , Natural Chemistry waterless bath , Hartz Infusions conditioning detangler .. I plan to get him groomed again as soon as his stitches come out this Friday . Thanks . |

| Ragamuffin - love it!!!! I have never heard anyone refer to their baby like I do, as a Ragamuffin... LOL I tell HOpe this everyday, that when she shakes like that and messes up her hair, she is like a little "Ragamuffin"... how cute! She has very fine hair but MAN when she starts shaking... she is a mess. d
