| Bows in Hair I just want to see if anyone else with a male yorkie puts there hair up. alfie has now a puppy cut so I can't do it now but before he got cut his hair was long enough but putting a bow in makes him look girly. After a while my hubby just cut his fringe (bang). Alfie's hair has a bit of a curl in it so the hair on top of his head looks crimped and doesn't sit too well if it's long. My groomer told me that if we get him fixed it will straighten out.

| You can get bows that are more for boys, dark greens, browns, blacks and reds, navy and with boy things. That should help like cars, trucks, balls and things like that. I know some boys wear bows, I don't have a male but if I did he would have them also.

| I watched the Texas dog show yesterday and there was this Beautiful Yorkie male and a beautiful Maltiese male who were in the show. THey both had bows in their hair. I put one in Coopers hair most days unless I am lazy or my Very Arthritic hands do not want to work the bands right. In my house we call it a "Ninja Knot" that way it is not considered "feminine" Good luck

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Hi, I have two Yorkie males, and both wear bows. Believe it or not, BOY DOG Bows are my number one sellers in my store! As long as the bows are the appropriate color, and have Boyish centers, I say GO FOR IT! (P.S. I offer 10% off to YT members!) |

| I sell a lot of boy bows! The key is a very masculine bow. My football bow customized in your favorite team colors is a big seller. I have a whole section of boy bows on my website if you'd like to take a look. Also check out my Tail Wags section for pictures of customers in boy bows. |

I put Hot Rod's hair up in a band only--usually blue or red, for the most part. Hubby keeps saying that boys don't wear bows. I do put a blue bow on him every once in a while.

Yeah, my husband also says boys shouldn't were bows. I have did a top knot with clear bands before and we do dress him in camoflauge tshirts and kahki body warmers. My husband likes the soldier look on him.
