Donating YT 30K Club Member | I use Pet silk for my cottony coated ones and Coat Handler, CC Day to Day or Espree for Pixie who is silky coated. I know people use human products but I use ones specifically for dogs.

| I prefer not to use people shampoo on them, but a lot of people do. Some dogs do well with those products, others don't. Coat Handler shampoo, conditioner, and anti-static detangling spray are my favorite products

| I use Mink Sheen for the body, Johnson's Baby Shampoo for the face. When their hair is long, I use Pantene Pro V conditioner and a dab of Cowboy Magic Detangler if needed. When the hair is shorter, the Mink Sheen shampoo provides enough conditioning.

| I use baby shampoo on Bailey and a Baby conditioner. It works really well and is gentle on the hair.

| You have to be very careful when using human shampoos because they can wash off the flea control product you use. Most dog shampoos are soap free and formulated to be used in conjunction with flea products. I'd stick with them. |

| In my opinion, don't waste your money on all those expensive dog shampoos. (i've tried alot of them) I use mane and tail (walmart) $6.00 for a big bottle, works great, nice lather and leaves their coat shiny and soft...geez I sound like an advertisement!! LOL |

| I tried the Earthbath Shampoo & Conditioner Mango Tango and ever since he's been scratching. I'm pretty sure I rinsed him really well. Any suggestions as to why hes started itching since bathing him? |
