| A face wash for dogs?? I was wondering if anybody can help me with how they wash their dogs faces each day. I have dog wipes, but they are not wet enough to get the eye gook very well. What are everybody's daily facial/teeth regimenes for their dogs? I think I recall somebody heats up a bowl of water in the microwave to use for face/teeth. Suggestions anyone? Thanks!

| Foaming Face Wash!!! I'll have it on my site tomorrow. This stuff is awesome - Mango flavored, washes away with a wet cloth no rinsing required! I used to water down Buddy Wash shampoo and that worked OK because it rinses out really easily, but this is even better!

| I use the SPA Lavish pet facial scrub and love it. It does a great job on tear stains. Smells really good too.

| The reason I just use distilled water is I drop some into their eyes to wash out. I do this after a walk as well since they are so low on the ground that dust gets in their little eyes. |

| What a great thread w/ great product info!!! Right now, I currently use plain o Johnson & Johnson's baby shampoo or their foaming shampoo....I wet a little baby wash cloth, wet their face and get the shampoo all foaming and get around their eyes and mouth/beards and rinse.

| We have a routine every night before bed. My boys like to snuggle with me, so I talk to them and massage them and get them nice and relaxed. They know the routine, so when I say "let's go to bed", they run straight to the bathroom. I warm some distilled water and use a warm baby wash cloth with a tiny bit of Buddy Wash to wash their faces. The distilled water is also good for cleaning the eye gunk, but if you give them distilled water to drink all the time, it eliminates a lot of that problem. I also wash and dry their paws. I use alcohol-free, fragrance free baby wipes on their butts and there privates. I have a baby wipe warmer....yeah ok, they are a wee bit spoiled. Then, I use a Q-tip to apply Petzlife Oral Care Gel to their teeth, followed by PetzLife Oral Care Spray. This product is wonderful, and my vet always comments on how nice my boys' teeth are. I bought mine at a good price from AMD here at YT. She ships fast and has good sales. Next, they get brushed and Jackson gets PJs on....Jake won't wear them. Of course, they didn't like the Petzlife at first, but they are used to it now and tolerate it and stay still for me. I also brush their teeth twice a week with a fingertip toothbrush and doggy toothpaste. They tolerate the fingertip toothbrush much better than a regular one. Some think I go overboard, but I want my boys to be around for a long time, so it is worth the extra effort to keep them healthy, especially their teeth.

| I like all these ideas, but I just wanted to add that I just recently bought some really cute SMALL and soft and sort of thin, washcloths for my doggies at Walmart in the baby dept.....where the hanging stuff is. They've got really cute sets of 5 or 6 in a pack....I got some that are whites and coral and pale greens with little animal head appliques on them. They're just perfect for these guy's little faces....now I need to get distilled water after reading this, LOL. This is what I LOVE about YT.....always something to learn to keep our furry companiions safe and healthy!
