| while waiting for his facial hair to grow... does anyone have any suggestions on how to keep it from poking his eyes?? is there some safe "doggie" hair gel that i can use to paste it down while it grows out? i'm trying to grow it out so i can give him a top knot, but right now it's at the perfect length to just constantly poke him in the eyes, which makes his eye booger production increase!! lol. any help? thanks!

| I just use water and a tiny comb... if you wet it and comb it down a few times, it should begin to stay down... I cant help you with gel, I dont use it but I find that the water an comb works well! d

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I'm letting Joey's hair grow too, and I use to spray a little hair spray on a toothbrush and use that, but Joey recently got a scratched cornea, and since we don't know what caused it, I stopped with the hair spray. I so wished I started this as a puppy; I hate the fact that the hair seems to always be poking his eyes. Water works for about 5 minutes. I do have one suggestion that helps. I use two bands the first one is rather low on the forehead and the second further up; this helps with the shorter hairs. Here's a link that gives instructions. Casual Way to Put Dog Bows In

| I just keep that hair short on Adie. I don't think it takes away from her looks at all. |
