Carlos went short on Monday DH thinks he looks like a little lion because we still keep his face kinda full.

That is how I want Tricksie cut. She gets groomed next week, her long hair is too much trouble, have to comb it a least once a day but that was a good thing yesterday. I started combing her chin and saw thread hanging out of her mouth to her chest, no end to it, opened her mouth and it was hung around her tongue and I didn't know what to do. She was making gulping sounds all night, rushed her to the vet and when I got there it was gone. Guess I loosened it enough that she swallowed it. He gave me some flavored vaseline hoping that she would poop it but last night she threw it up. It was a ball of thread, don't know how she got it
So, get the hair cut short and can see what is hanging out of her mouth.

Well I just shaved Stedman down yesterday evening!!!

I still can't believe that I did it....BUT, with that darn belly band of his, it is just sooo much easier for him to have shorter hair. However, I will not keep it this short for long. In about 2-3 months it should be to the length I want it (his hair grows really fast!) and what I will then do is just maintain it at that length. I won't let it get any longer (unless I end up changing my mind LOL) although I definitely will not cut it any shorter. I just went shorter THIS TIME so that we could kind of "start fresh" and let it get back to the exact length I want it at

Plus, with it getting hotter here, he will feel alot better

Stedman is just too "little" and skinny to KEEP this short of a cut though. With him having hair this short it makes him look even smaller (meaning skinny) and I don't like that

P.S. - His face is still exactly the same...I didn't TOUCH that and never would

AWH well thank you. You should take the picture with you to the groomers and tell them you want it like that. That is what I did when I wanted to cut his hair. I tell you they love being short, it is so much cooler and less heavy for them.

Make sure you post pictures once you do it.

Murphy looks REALLY cute like that though. I think he has more meat on his bones than Stedman does so he looks great.

Brooke - I thought Stedman was potty trained, why is he wearing the belly bands?

Also wanted to say Stedman could be completely bald and still one of the cutest yorkies on the block.

And I want to see pics...PLEASE!
