| Grooming Bands What size do I need to purchase for a top knot (4lb dog)? There are so many different sizes (1/4, 3/8, 5/16), I don't know what to get. I'm planning on using a grooming band before I put on the bow. Thanks in advance. |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I use the 1/4 inch size. Joey's hair is thin, and not very long yet. This size stays in well and I only have to twist once. The 3/8 inch size, I twist twice. Joey's about 5 1/2 pounds.

| Wow! To be honest, I never paid attention to the size of bands....Apparently they are small because I never notice having to twist them too much. I mainly look for the no-snag, etc type bands.

| My girl is 4.5 lbs. and has a little topknot. I use the orthodontic bands that are 3/16" - very tiny because I don't want to break the hair by winding more than twice. You can find them on eBay. |
