| longer hair / top knots I've been trying to keep Andrew's hair longer but the problem is that whenver he doesn't have a top knot in , his hair hangs in his eyes and often gets in his mouth. I'm wondering what can be done to keep it long, but also looking good when it's not tied up. The 1st pic shows how the hair gets in his mouth and then ends up crusty - yuck. The 2nd pic shows him fresh after a bath - I don't know how he can even see! He looks so cute when it's up.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | He is a cutie. With Cali I let her topknot out unless we are going somewhere or people are coming over since Roxie my puppy takes it out, but before that I bought these little cloth covered bands from target and put them in loosely instead of a band and bow as it was gentler on her head and hair. If she doesn't have anything in her hair it just looks messy. I try and part it in the middle so it will lay down but that doesn't last for long.

| What a doll he is....and such a gorgeous blue!! I would try to keep his hair up all of the time so it stays out of his mouth and eyes. At the dollar store they sell baby hair bands that are like mini scrunchies that you can use in his hair instead of a latex band. Another option is to start training his hair to lay like a Silky. You can part it in the middle and use a little bit of Vaseline or oil to weigh it down. |

| I keep Mojo's top knot LONG and if it is down and he is rough playing, it covers his whole face. I normally never have it down....we have used various things...I love those little snap clips, you can buy in the children's dept at Wal-Mart or in the hair accessory aisle. They are light weight, but holds the hair.

| I try to put the top knot in every day, but he manages to get it out!! I have some great elastics from Des at Go Fetch but even those slide out eventually. I love the look when it's neat and tidy, but after he's been playing for a while.....yikes.

| I also hate the hair hanging in there face. I have bought some of those little clips but worried about them eating the clips---

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | He's SOOOOO CUTE !! I have long hair on my girls faces - I guess it's a matter of how much work you want to do - when it gets to a certain stage - it pretty much stays out of the water and their mouths - but I have to do an occasional 'hair retrival' - I keep saying I'm cutting Chanels face short but I never do it |

| Thanks all for the tips - I think we're going to get Andrew's 'visor' trimmed like Jaxon's and see how that goes. His hair grow SUPER fast so if I don't like it, I can grow it out. We went to a Play Group today and so many people called him a girl.
