| when do they stop shaking while getting a bath? Hello everyone!!! We have had ben now for three months and we bathe him every week and sometimes twice a week. and it seems everytime we give him a bath he always shakes. Is this normal? we give him praises and treats thru the whole process. I was just wondering if you all had this problem as well. He does very good and when I brush out his hair and trim his nails he lets me do it no problem. thanks for your time. |

| Wrigley used to shake alot when she was a puppy and we gave her a bath. I don't think that's unusual at all! He may or may not grow out of it, alot of dogs hate bath time! She's 1 1/2 now and she really doesn't shake anymore, she just sits quietly and is really good!

| duncan always shakes will I bath him. I just figured he was cold since they only have the one layer of hair. I have tried using a littlemicro heater on the counteraiming at the sink so the air is warmer and that helps for a while but like alot have said he even shakes while I use the hair dryer. After all is done I usually wrap him in one of his fleece blankets and carry him around for an hour or so till he is not shaking any more. good luck

| I always put their towels in the dryer while Im bathing them, then they get a nice warm fluffy towel to wrap up in b4 blowing. But they both shake when they are in the tub! Big babies! Hang in there!

| Yeah Kaba shakes furiously during and after her baths. She absolutely hates it but normally sits there giving me the evil eye until we are done. For the first time ever, she was HORRIBLE during her last bath. I don't know what her issue was but I really hope this isnt a new trend.

| LOL. Glad I'm not the only one who has this issue. Out of my three Yorkies, only one shakes. I got her when she was 6 months old and she had been going to Petsmart for her baths and grooms. I'm not sure if something happened there to make her afraid or if it's just her. When I first got her, she would panic and try to climb up my arm to get out. So, she has improved - she is 2 years old now. She at least will stay in the sink, but still acts petrified. She shakes and cowers while being dried and brushed out. It's kind of hard to brush her while she is all crouched down. |

| I think it is normal for them. Mine shake when getting a bath but then relax and fall asleep when I am drying them.

| None of mine shake, but I make sure the house and the water is really warm and that the towels are getting nice and warm in the dryer while I'm bathing them. Maybe some are just naturally that way. I keep the house pretty darn chilly during the day and even colder at night, so they are use to cold and maybe the warm bath just feels toasty to them. |
