| What type of coat? I have a little six-month old male yorkie, and was wondering how I tell what type of coat he will have? How do I know if it is "cotton" or "wirey" or whatever else? All I can tell is it is growing in pretty silver! Thanks so much, I appreciate it!! ~ Amanda & Ranger |

| It doesn't matter what type coat a yorkie has, if you put clothes on them they will mat....

| AMEN TO THAT! I have a cotton coat and a silk coat and after wearing ANY little jacket or even a sleevless knit shirt, they will have a few little mats that I get out right away. |

| coat Hannah looks a nice silk to me...use a good conditioner for mats...but any long coat will get mats with clothes as posted... Check the eyes in a dark room..use a flashlight..if it is soft it will be a warm red, amber, yellowish ambers... |
