| Holiday gift for Groomer I know I've seen threads on this but wasn't able to find it when I did a search. I think my groomer is awesome, and would like to get her a Holiday gift. Do you think a $20 giftcard for gas or WaWa (convenience store) is reasonable?

| I usally give him a big tip and an ornament with my dogs pic. He loves it. He has a whole tree full of them. Romeo will be my third dog ornament i've given him. I usally take a pic of them right after he has groomed them. |

| I think gift cards are always nice. You might even want to try a Walmart gift card. There's so much to choose from there.

| As a groomer I can tell you I get so much stuff at Christmas. I love gift cards to restaurants, Bath and Body Works , for my poor old body...I get lots of baked goods and tons of candy and it is the good stuff and I box most of it up and deliver it to the Mission after the last day we work. If I was to enjoy all that stuff I would not be able to walk to work any more. Every year Mrs. Gollusrud makes me a breakfast ring that is so good I do have it Christmas morning. I like the candles and the Caramel Baileys...yummmm. Most of all I like getting all the hugs that come from my clients and cash is always welcome Owner : Best Friends Pet Salon Salem Oregon |

The groomer I go to has I think 6 groomers on staff, and all have a large client list. At first I was considering a food gift, but I'm pretty sure they get alot of those. So I will stick with the gift card, my groomer lives quite a distance from work so I'm sure the gas card would help.

| In the last three years, I've been giving my groomer Gift Cert for Star Bucks and bags of pre-made grooming bows (100 per bag). She always makes a huge fuss thanking me for the bows saying it saves her a lot of time and tired fingers from having to make them herself for all the extra appointments she gets a few weeks before the Holidays. She seems to appreciate the bows more than the coffee!

| I share all my gifts with my staff, in fact my bather Ricky always opens my gifts before I even get to them. I think it is the best part of Christmas for him. All the candy and baked goods are fair game, any gift cards I can not use are divided between the help depending on who wants what. I don't drink coffee so they like the Starbucks cards.... They get first choice of any of the candy before it goes to the mission, but to tell the truth by the time Christmas comes we have all had our fill of candy. |
