| How do you groom the tail?? My new girl has long tail hair. It looks like a bunny rabbit. I want to trim it, but Im scared to mess it up. Zoey's tail goes out straight (like in line with her spine) and is easy to trim. My new baby has a tail that points up. Any groomers with advice, do you trim on an angle, cut the top off, comb the hair out and cut from the back... Can anyone explain??

| Are you looking to cut it short? Is she groomed short? If so I use a moustach trimmer and shave over the tail and under it trimming with scissors the tip of the tail. This gives an even look. I also do the same for the butt area and underneath. |

| Both of our boyz have a full length coat but I've always trimmed their tails in a wedge. I hold their tail and trim close to the end at the tip but let it get a smidge longer at the base...that way it kind of blends in with their longer hair but it's still short enough to keep them clean with no problems. |
