| It is hard, but the key is patience. Lots of treats help, too!

| I do Suzy's late at night. When she's been asleep for a while and quite passive I snuggle her, then brush her and then do her nails. She hates brushing more than the nails so she'll struggle when I brush her then submit and let me do it. While she's all submissive I do her nails. Maybe try that tactic? Good luck! |

| Someone on here had suggested wrapping them tight in a towel and only taking one paw out at a time. That helped with Kalani. He still hates it but at least I don't have to worry about him squirming and hurting himself!

| I take them to the groomer, so I don't hurt them.

| I would first start rubbing the feet. Without any clippers in your hands get them used to your fingers in between their toes. Also let them chew a treat while your doing it. When they are used to that do it with clippers in hand. Slightly pinch at the toes (just putting pressure not hard). Then move to clipping. Also do not back off if they get fussy be firm and calm. They learn quickly if you give in to only fuss more. It will take some time but it should work. |

| My vet will normally do it for free, but I do it at the house now too! Mojo will let me lay him on his back (loves his belly rubbed) on my legs and I will clip them then. Before....I had to keep playing with this feet and get him use to the sound of the "clip", I guess. LilyGrace, she just stands on the counter and I left up one leg and then clip and then to the next. Course, specials chewies are given after I am done!
