| Hair elastics How long is it ok to leave a supposedly safe elastic in their hair? What do you use to tie your babies hair up? I would like to be able to just use a clip or barrette to put Bella's hair up because I don't want to damage it but I can't find one that will stay in, she can just shake her head and it comes out. Any recommendations?

| i leave rubberbands in lexi's hair 24/7 ,, barrettes will not stay in alone. she likes it though.. she hates hair in her eyes. she runs to me when it gets messed up. her top knot is long so i have to keep it up at all times. i dont put it on tight though. never.

| I use those tiny coloured scruhchie type..they stay in, and so easy to put in and take out compared to elastics. You can get them at the dollar stores also. My yorkies are so much happier since I starting using them.. I do buy fancy bows on ebay, but for every day I use the other..Mine are all too young and take the pretty expensive bows out of each others hair, and then they wreck them.. Give them a try. pooh's mum |

| they do not come out of my yorkies hair..I go around 4 times with it at least..and they actually look cute with all the different colors. I would not know how to put elastics in now..mind you they need there face combed daily anyway so I do not mind that part..If I do use an elastic now they hate it...pooh's mum |

| I think if there in tight enough they will not come out as easy..I tie them tight without making their eyes pop out...lol omg I so love them, a friend I met through yorkies has three tinies and she used them and had no problem so I said I need to try this, I hated taking the elastics out of there hair as they did not really like it much. pooh's mum |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I stopped keeping a bow in Cali 24/7 since she scratches her head so much, I decided to let her hair down unless we go out or have people in. She looks a bit messy but she seems to prefer it. I was using those scrunchies but Pixie delighted in pulling them out of poor cali's hair.

| Mojo has such long hair on his face, I keep a band in his hair all the time. We love the elastic bands from go.fetch...and they are cheap too! Lily has long hair, but it isn't thick like Mojo's...course, she will NOT keep anything in her hair!!!!

| we use the little scrunchies(small ones) and we use the lil rubberbands(bought them from go.fetch). i really really like the scrunchies..they dont damage the hair..and i dont mind leaving them in for a while(i only use the same scrunchy for a couple times though...cuz they seem to stretch out and then they WILL fall out-but i LOVE them!!) oh and we also use the little clips/barrettes to hold her bangs back, etc. sometimes.
