| Mine will be getting puppy cuts soon. My Jewels was matted so I cut the matts out so now she is all uneven. Chachis hair is just to long. So I am going to start all over with puppy cuts. They will have on hoodies when its cold

| I suppose it depends on how cold it gets where everyone lives as to how they have their dogs hair. Were I live we don't get very many really cold days and of course no snow at all. I kept Azrael in a very short cut around her entire body which looks so good on her, but with the chance of us going to Alaska this winter, I'm letting the hair grow out. I'm sure the ones who live in the snow states probably don't cut their dogs hair short. |

| I'm letting Chuy's hair grow out a bit. I normally keep him in a buzz cut, as it gets pretty hot here in the South. It doesn't get cold here until about January, so his hair should be just right by then. Add a sweater and we're stylin'!

| I think for this winter, I will keep Mojo's hair the way it is...we are getting it long again after a very short puppy cut....Lily's hair is longer and we will keep it that way. Normally, we cut it in a puppy cut in the winter (funny because you would think it would be the opposite) because we have fire places (wood heat and central heat) and they were lots of clothing in the winter.

| I let it grow until it starts to matt, and I brush them everyday, but when it gets to bad it's back to the puppy cut. If I think they're cold I'll put some clothes on them.

| What if they are still puppies and you give them a bath? Mine will be about 10 weeks old and Im not sure if its a good idea to take it outside in the snow after a bath to go potty. Someone told me something about an oil thier coat develops to keep them warm and how after their bath it comes off and they are more likley to get sick if they are brought out in the cold. Is this true? |

| We always let Faith grow out in the winter here (Alaska) It gets -10F or less in the winter and that was too cold for her. Even if all she did was run outside to potty lol |
