| Anyone from Saskatoon here? Just wondering if any of you are from Saskatoon and know of a good Veterinary clinic and/or groomer in the city? Thanks! |

| Hi! I'm super late on this thread, but I just posted on another thread that I'm from Saskatoon too I take Layla to Arlington Animal Hospital... I didn't have much time to be choosy though because not long after moving here I came home from work one evening to Layla with blood through the fur on her head (It turned out to be from scratching... my baby has allergies!) I called the first place I could find that was open late! They have been great with her though so I stuck with them. I took her in for a tooth extraction last year, and she came home with a tiny little tennis ball in her take-home bag that she just loved! As for groomers, I have found some terrible ones! I had it so easy when I lived in Moose Jaw and had a great groomer from the time I got Layla, but it's a different story here! But now I've found a place I love called It's a Dog's Life. They are super friendly and do a GREAT grooming job. They also don't leave the dogs crated up all day like some groomers... everytime I go to pick Layla up, they just open the door a crack and she comes running out to me in the lobby! She seems very happy when she's there too.

| Wow! So nice to have someone else from Saskatoon with me here! haha! Thanks for the tips! I'll have to check out It's a Dog's Life - I've seen ads for it around the city! How old is your Layla? Chloe will be 16 weeks tomorrow. I wonder if there are any other saskatooners on here! |

| Layla is 3 and a half years old. I miss when she was a puppy! It goes by so fast! Have you thought about enrolling Chloe in puppy classes? If you do, I would absolutely recommend Paws N Train I took Layla there last year (I know, a little old for a puppy!) for more socialization since she seemed to be so scared of other dogs at the dog park! It really brought her out of her shell and she learned a lot of basic obedience. I will definitely be taking my next puppy, whenever I'm able to get Layla a playmate! I did meet another Saskatoonian on here a couple of years ago but I'm not sure if she's still around. When it gets warmer out we should set up some play time in the dog park! I never see any yorkies there!

I really want to take Chloe to a puppy class! Thanks for the recommendation! I will give them a call! Where is there a dog park? (I'm fairly new to the city, if you can't tell!) I would love to set up a time for Chloe and Layla to play in the dog park. It's getting warmer now, so hopefully soon! | |

| There are a few dog parks around the city but I take Layla to the one at the end of Broadway. If you're ever driving on circle by the new Stonebridge developments (with the new walmart and stuff) there's a big fenced off area with a giant hill and that's the dog park Which part of the city are you in? I just go to that park because I'm closest to it. I've actually never tried going to any of the others!

| I'm close too! I live in Briarwood. I love Stonebridge, it's so pretty! Which area do you live in? PS - I am loving the weather here right now! I hope it continues to melt all this gross snow! |
