| Allergy Testing In or Around Brooklyn, NY I am looking for a vet that does allergy testing. My vet treats allergies but he does not test for it. So basically I need to have the blood work done somewhere else. Can anyone recommend a vet that does allergy testing? The office doesn't have to be in Brooklyn (although that would be most convenient). I am willing to drive to the Bronx, Queens, Manhattan, Staten Island and even New Jersey if necessary. Thanks in advance. PS - My poor Codie is the one with the allergy issues. He is CONSTANTLY licking his paws. He'll sit on the couch and lick them raw. I've tried switching foods several times and I'm very picky on what type of treats I allow him to eat. He does not eat anything containing problamatic ingredients. So I'm really at a loss here.

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | I"m surprised your vet doesn't do it. ALl he has to do is draw blood and send it out. I know the vet i worked for in hohokus, NJ does it if you want to travel to north jersey.

| Try http://www.amcny.org/. It's the best vet hospital in the state and state of the art technology. It's on the Upper East Side by the FDR drive

The only reason they are a 3 star instead of a 5 or 6 star (according to http://www.dogfoodanalysis.com/dog_f...uct=1085&cat=4) is because they do not have a lot of meat ingredients. But I think in Codie's case, I'm going to give this a try. He really needs to stay away from grains and other problematic ingredients. THANK YOU SO MUCH for telling me about this food!! I'm going to order it today!! I'll let you know how Codie reacts to it. And thank you all for listing different places I can take Codie for an allergy test. Hopefully this food change will help him but if not, at least now I know where to take him for an allergy test if all else fails.
