what about the president mabee we should all write to him
did you see my post in "off topic" about what one city here was trying to tell the farmers? that they can't give water to their livestock because of the water shortage here? just goes to show that the government couldn't care less. heck, half the time they dont care about humans, much less animals.

i think it would be hilarious if a bunch of YT'ers wrote the president LOL hey...we could possibly make the news LOL

They didn't want water going to the livestock!?! In what way does that make sense? Don't we have livestock for dairy and meat!?! To survive??

Remind me never to go by you if there's a shortage of water.

I just thought I'd pipe in on that because I don't think it's up to the government to make new laws in order to correct this problem, it's up to each of us to take responsiblity. Why do so many people continue to buy from pet stores? If people wouldn't buy from them, this would not be an issue at all. Not to bash people who do buy from pet stores, my own sister did but I think we need to do more to educate each other.

I bought Max from Puppy Boutique and became educated here about pet stores and puppy mills, and how to buy a dog the right way. I just bought Gracie Leigh from a breeder with a great deal of help, recommendations and support from YTers.

We are educating each other, and it's starting in places like this. I tell anyone who oohs and ahhs over my babies what I've learned.

I absolutely agree with you that we must educate each other and I think we really are. The government should be more involved. Dogs are considered property, however, and until that changes, ???

I dont understand... How could you feel dumb or ripped off?!? Your pup is perfectly fine! As people, we can only do so much research... and if it was legit to you - dont let others discurage you or make you feel as though you made a poor choice. For the most part, just cause people say a certain thing, doesnt mean its "gold"... Half of the people giving negative comments have probably never even been to the store, let alone made a purchase from there... Im just a FIRM believer that it aint about "HERE-SAY", its about what "I SAY"

Have a great day!

Not sure, but I think she was "hating" (insult) on you... I've seen YT'rs as young as 13 yrs old - so stating that ur old enough to be on this site, doesnt really say much?!? you know... Never the less - PEACE & LOVE people!

I see this post started a while ago..but I actually got Reese from Puppy Boutique..
The said Reese came from Europe and has a European microchip in her neck since they could not identify the object in her neck (the vet since then has told me it is just fine) but they are so full of it.
I am just curious..If all of us listed the breeder names and parent names that our dogs supposedly came from, how many would be the same..

Her breeders are:Jeff and Sandra Myers
Her parents are: Sire-Quixtar, Dam-Victoria
