| Very vague website. Does not state if they do what tests, if any. The fact that they advertise teacup is a red flag for me.

| This looks like a pet store instead of a private breeder. Under the Directions button they give directions how to get there by train and under the Contact Us button they say stop by and see the puppies. IMO I would never buy from a pet store. | By the way when doing a reverse look up of the phone number on the website the phone is registered to a person named Arezzi Salvatore and their address is totally different than the address on the website. I don't know Brooklyn but the website address is on 80th Street and the phone number is listed to an address on Ave O. I could be wrong but it looks more like a pet store to me. Teresa |

| Hmm, interesting. I didn't think it was a pet store since the website says they're all home raised. Thanks for the replies, I appreciate it. |

| It's a pet store. That's where I got my Sammy and it was called Puppy Boutique then. It also has been known by other names too. When I got Sammy I didn't know anything about puppy mills and pet stores. If I were you I would look for a good breeder. Good Luck! |

| I see. Are you unhappy with Sammy in any way. I mean did he have illnesses and such? Were your dealings with them a bad experience overall? |

This website also has a 1 year health guarantee though and the prices are quite reasonable. I dunno, I'm so torn on this because I want to do the right thing and get my puppy from a responsible breeder. | |

Reputable breeders will interview you at length (that's to say the least) and if you are lucky you can get a dog from them. All the hard work they put into their dogs, they are not going to let just anyone get a hold of their lines. Also, just think of how young these pups are taken away from their moms in order to travel across country to these shops. Many don't survive the journey. And don't think you are saving the pup from the pet shop. All that will do is enable the pet shop owner, letting him continue to exploit animals to line his own pocket. And think about the poor mommies trapped in those tiny cages their whole life forced to keep pumping out puppies.

| I had no problems with Puppy Boutique itself. It's just now, from YT, I know that these puppies come from puppy mills. The only problems Sammy had were luxating patella and seizures. His LP wasn't bad and his seizures were under control with medication. I would not trade one second of the wonderful 13 years I had with my Sammy, but now I know better than to support puppy mills. Nothing against Puppy Boutique personally. |

| Warning I am very familiar with this place PLEASE read my story below. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM THEY ARE A PUPPY MILL. My families hearts are still broken from the loss of our baby yorkie that they sold us. Theodore had Liver Shunt Disease which had the breeder done the proper testing the dogs would of never been bred. They keep changing their names due to all the bad press they receive. The judge in our case read them the riot act because he said they are being sued weekly for delivering sick puppies. Yes I did win the appeal and they paid 1/2 my expenses but it didn't mend my heart. CHERYL RIZZO News, Images, Videos, Classifieds & More - SILive.com I urge you to call a wonderful breeder I found that delivers healthy tested babies that are AKC registered Champions. Let's Talk Yorkie -- New York the owner is Susan and her number is 516-840-7925. She currently has two litters available to good homes. She is located in Bellmore Long Island and was well worth the 3 hour round trip I made on New years Eve. Yes she will make sure your a good family for her babies because she cares about their future but once you pass her test she becomes your friend for life. Our little Lexi has been with us since last New Years Eve and she is the most beautiful healthy little Yorkie I have ever seen. Imagine she actually came came home from her New Years Party so we could bring Lexi home. Please feel free to call me if you have any questions. Cheryl Rizzo 718-317-0110

| Pet store They advertise that they are home raised puppies and when you call them they even say you can come by their house but this is the owners house who gets the pups from Missiouri puppy mills and probably other states. If you do a search you will see dozens of complaints written in about them. So many got sick dogs from them. A dog who has seizures is a sick dog and yes your lucky to have him for all these years I wish I could say the same but Theo only made it for 1 year and three months and the last 3 months he suffered from Liver Shunt disease. We spend over $10,000 trying to save him and ended up with no puppy. a Puppy Mill is a puppy mill and for that reason alone I would not go there. Yes you may be 1 out of a 100 that gets a dog that isn't sick but do you want to take that chance when there is a wonderful breeder an hour from that place. Trust me she breeds for the love of the breed not $ and that you will see for yourself. I did 3 months of research to find her and am so grateful that she is who she is. It took my family two years of mourning the loss of Theodore to get to the point of wanting another Yorkie to fill the void and I am so happy we found Susan and now have the best baby ever in ourt lives. My 3 year old Yorkie Charlie is pretty darn happy too!

| I would stay away from this website. No info on pedigree or line. No exact health guarantee to read. Lots of disreputable breeders say they have one, but when you read it it really covers nothing (that's why they don't post it). I would encourage you to ask to see the health guarantee and what it covers. There is no such thing as a "teacup yorkie".
