Although Mistibleu does list on her website there is no such thing as T-Cup or Toy in the Yorkshire Terrier. Anyone breeding should know the basics of the Yorkshire Terrier and that they are a Toy Dog, it does make me concerned how in depth they've studied. I'm glad that your experience with said breeder was a positive one.

I stated in another thread, that while these tests are very important in breeding lines, they only prove that the breeding pair doesn't have said problems. It doesn't tell you that they aren't carriers. There is no genetic marker for to tell you that. What is extremely important is you puppy healthy, and how your breeder will stand behind their breeding. I know Barbara she's been in the Yorkie world forever, she line breeds....her dogs are beautiful.

It's a way for you to at least go and meet these breeders face to face. Get to know them and them get to know you. It would also make a great impression that you made the effort of traveling by train, not letting anything stand in your way.

Remember these breeders I'm recommending to you are very reputable.....Don't think that you're going to walk away with a puppy on the first meeting. There will be a relationship built first.

| Thats true. But that does seem like a lot. . As good as those breeders sound....their distance is just not convenient for me. & Yea i do want to build a relationship with the breeder of my choice....I just rather have them closer. Doing all of that seems a BIT too much. & like I mentioned earlier in this thread....I'm a college student....& school starts this week...theres NO WAY i can do all of this. If you don't even have time to travel for a day, are you sure you're going to be able to find the time to care for and train a puppy? I got my puppy a few weeks ago, and he takes up quite a lot of time, patience, money, attention, work... I LOVE every minute of it, but I also have the time... for him. | |
