| 8/15/2009 - Your Dog is Worth It - Cranbury, NJ Who is going this year? Wanna meet up? How was it last year? L’Oréal Presents - Your Dog Is Worth It Too, Day "Imagine a day where over 5,000 people and their best four-legged friends come together to play games, swim, eat and just enjoy each other’s company and raise thousands of dollars for breast cancer research." Looks like there is an amazing variety of fun activities, including a Yorkie Race at 1pm! I am looking forward to learning doggy CPR there too. Let's get this party started! |

| oh it looks like fun for a good cause. do we have to register to be there or can we just show up if we don't want the goodie bag? Duke and I might end up going.

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | yeah you can just show up but depending on what time you get there the lines to get in may be really really long. I sign up ahead of time just so i won't have to wait.

| Thanks for the info...do you know if the yorkie race is in a gated section or is it out in the open? I would love for Duke to race but if it's off leash in an ungated area, then I dont know if I'll have my dog back by the end of the race .

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | i didn't see it last time but its most likely in a contained area of some sort. dogs aren't allowed off leash in the main area where the events are.

| Sign up soon! If you are planning to register in advance, now is the time to do it. Unless I'm missing something, it appears to be mail registration only? Seriously, who doesn't have online sign-ups in 2009? Anyway besides having to whip out an old-school check book and stamps, the rest of the event looks very well organized. The perks of registering are - guaranteed a goodie bag (or premium goodie bag if you register with $25) - skip the long lines to get in See you there! If you are watching the Yorkie race, London will be the one running in circles because she has no idea she should run straight to the finish line. |

| Anyone got their email confirmation yet? We just received ours....and there is special preview day one week early. At the preview, you can pick up your goodie bags, skip the long lines, and play in the pool and the race course. Awesome, now we have 2 fun days planned! |
