| Let the countdown begin!! Because Your Dog is Worth it too Day! August 16th! 2 months away!!!! We attended this event last year as did a lot of other YTer's. It was sooooo much fun! The drive was over an hour but totally worth it!! There are so many activities for the dogs, free samples, demonstrations, contests.... its really a good time! and the bags that they give you for pre-registration are PACKED with fun stuff for you and your dog! AND its for a good cause! Last year I didnt meet up with any YTer's - hopefully this year some of us can meet up! Check out the website: http://yourdogisworthittoo.com/

| This year there is going to be a "Yorkie Challenge". I wrote in last year that there should be one with all the yorkies there, I guess others wrote in too.

| They better be! Chip is a whole 16lbs, and Harley 15lbs., they should have different weight classes for the yorkie events. Otherwise I can totally picture Chip taking out a smaller yorkie in a race, and the owner being horrified by it.

| I can't wait for this event!!!! I worked the table for a rescue group last year and I'm doing it again but with the new group I'm with Shih Tzu and Furbaby Rescue. So maybe that can be a meet up area for all us. So look out for our table. |

| Can't wait. My first year! Last year I made copies of the fliers and the registration forms and passed them out to everyone that I knew had a dog (and those that didn't). After doing all that, I was unable to attend that day. I can't miss it this year. First of all it is such a worthy cause. Second of all how perfect is it to be able to spend a quality day out with "our babies"! All of us having the chance to have fun and make a difference. It would be nice if we had YT buttons to wear on our shirts so we can recognize "family" at first glance! Hope to see YT faces.

| We got a late start on the day so we hit some really bad traffic. I dont remember exactly how long it took, but I want to say around 2 hours. We are in queens 10 minutes outside of manhattan.

| How far to Reading, PA from NYC? IF you can get of NYC - MY GOD how hard that is - the rest is a piece of cake and it is easy to find. Just head west of I 78 and keep coming. Turn off on to Rt. 222 south. The Sheraton is on the side of the road. Easy to see. |

The ride is about an hour to Cranbury, NJ depending on where in NYC you are in and what way you take to get there if you are coming through the GWB or Lincoln tunnel about an hour. Hope to see you there I had a blast last year. I will be on the Shih and Furbaby Rescue table so please stop by!!!! | |
