Easy and affordable parking would be nice, but I am up for any place in Manhattan/boroughs as long as its close to a subway stop with a working elevator.

Here is the place I was talking about. It's very cool. They have a small dog park and a big dog park. This is the address and some pics from a meetup i went to there so you can see how it looks.

Carl Shurz Park (Small Dog Run)
East 86th Street, at East End Avenue
New York, NY 10028

There is also a dog friendly pub right across the street from it, they have food also. After the meetup we went to hangout there, so that could be a good idea.
Bailey's Corner Pub
1607 York Avenue & 85th Street
New York, NY 10028

Anyway just throwing stuff out there, it's just an option. I think everyone that knows of a good place should just write the address and info you have on it so we can have ideas. I guess we can all just vote what borough we want it to be in. I really don't mind where it is...Queens and Brooklyn is big, i don't know my way around at all but I will try to go if it's in either. The 2nd pic is from the pub.

Thank you for sharing this info. It looks like a very nice park and its so great that they have a little dog friendly pub. Its seems like Manhattan is more open for dog friendly places. Yes if everyone can suggest certain places that they know of that would be great.

Oh hun Manhattan is not that far but I think a lot of people want to make the whole day out of this meetup if we all meet up. I know what you mean about your furbabies. I hope in a week or so when weather will get very nice I would be able to meet up with you and we will talk.

i think Manhatten would just be easiest since everyone knows how to get there and its probably closer to most people in new york and jersey.

Oooopsss... i think i just posted this on the wrong thread...

I'm a little late to this thread- haven't been around YT much lately- but I live in NY too and my MIckey and Mallory LOVE yorkie meetups so our gang is definitely in!!!

I live in queens but I am fine traveling pretty much anywhere- Manhattan, Jersey... whatever!

Carl Shurz dog run is a good idea! I used to take Mickey there. There is also the dog run in the East Village in Tompkins Square Park. They usually have a very big dog run but it is undergoing renovation so they have a smaller temporary run up- i think its about the same size as the run at Carl Shurz- this may be easier for Brooklyn people to get to.

Wherever we end up picking I Can't wait!!!

You are not late at all You are on the list I dont mind to go anywhere but I think Manhattan works because there are a lot of people from NY. There are few people that are gonna be coming from Long Island too.

I wanna be included too!

I was going to suggest me hosting a YT meetup at my house b/c we live on an acre and the backyard is fenced in. We have a neat backyard for Yorkie explorers.

Here's the only downfall. I live on the South Shore of Eastern Long Island, so I am not sure how many ppl want to make that drive, but the offer is there if you want....

Regardless, you can count me in for the meetup
