| What do you take when you go camping? I'm just wondering if there is anything you take for your Yorkies that makes camping easier. We're taking Sugar camping for the first time this weekend. We have a 27 ft travel trailer and we're going to a state park for 2 days and a private campground for 2 days. Next week we're going camping at another private campground for 2 days. My husband, 2 daughters, Sugar, & I are going. We're taking her crate, leash, a tie-out, food, water, dishes, treats, & brush...I think that's all I've thought of so far. The state park has a lake, is there any problem w/ letting Sugar swim in the lake if it's allowed? Let me know of any items that you can't live without. Thanks!

| I'm taking Kobi camping/to the lake next week and I'm just bringing regular old vacation things (since we do that a lot), but I can't wait to see if he'll swim! I got him a life jacket, so I'm hopeful that he will with a little help from that. I think Missy is a camper so maybe she'll see this and let us know if there's anything "special" we may need...

| We have traveled over 37000 miles camping with Murfee. Sounds like you about have it covered. We always take one of his beds and his blankie and I always take his backpack like carrier for sightseeing. |

| We go camping alot and I always make sure I have Abbigail's leash, tie out, food and bowls, bully stick, smell good spary, and waterless shampoo, brush and somthing for her top knot oh and her kennel. I also put a towel on the seat just in case she vomits for some odd reason. You might also want to bring along shot records just in case. Maybe medication too.

No Longer a Member | We're going camping in August. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Chloe doesn't bark all night long! She's not a barker, but being in a strange place, you never know... We're going to bring a tie-out for her, so she can't wander away from the campsite. We also got a special tag made at the machine at petsmart that has the campground and campsite number on it--because cell phones don't work up there--just in case she does find a way to wander off. |

| Thanks for the suggestions. I didn't think about taking her vaccination records. That's a great idea. I think I might make a copy of them and always keep a copy in my truck since she goes so many places with us.
