I called both airlines on your behalf and found out. WestJet - Contact WestJet and WestJet Vacations - Cargo, Charter and Head office info - 1-888-937-8538 No. I spoke with "Meechelle??" (might be Michelle) There is only 1 dog per carrier and 1 dog per flyer allowed in the cabin. Air Canada http://www.aircanada.com/en/customercare/index.html No. I spoke with ..."Sheraya?" I don't know if I am spelling that correctly. Same rules as WestJet apply. If more than just you is going on a flight, you can have 1 dog in a carrier at your feet and your companion(s) can also have a dog in a carrier, but no more than 1 per person. This is applicable for both airlines.

I posted a reply but for whatever reason, they're not showing up. WestJet and AirCanada both allow only 1 dog per person in the cabin. I called them on your behalf and found out. Their websites have toll free numbers. AirCanada kept me on hold for ages, but WestJet was really fast in regard to a customer service rep. 1 dog per carrier and only 1 dog per person. If you have a companion with you they may also have 1 dog though.

Make your reservations early, arrive at the airport early. Good luck.

| Southwest Airlines allows two dogs per carrier if the carrier fits completely under the seat in front of you. You can buy a carrier made for two dogs. They have a divider in them.

Delta also allows 2 dogs in one carrier as long as the carrier meets their specifications.

Alaska Airlines also allows two dogs in one carry on carrier. They are great to fly with. I don't know of any Canadian Airlines that allows two in a carrier carry on.
