| Mommie's potty break!!!!! Well, I took my girls for a visit from FL to SC and back. (We will be moving there soon.) I started out with them in the Snoozer car seat, but because of the lengthy timeframe in the car, I took them out of it. I put a box on the floor (to make it level with the seat), put their puppy bed on it, and strapped both in to seat belt. They could only go so far and could not fall. Their food and water were right there and they could move around a little more than in their Snoozer.....and it was a long drive. They did wonderful though as I stopped and took them potty and let them stretch their legs. The question is...how do I take a potty break???? The rest stops do not allow pets; there is a big sign on the door. I did sneak them in once in a puppy purse, but every time after that, I was caught and was not allowed in. It is just me and the two girls and I will NOT leave them in the car alone. Anybody have any suggestions? |

| The only thing I can think of that you can do is to find gas stations that have the old fashioned bathrooms. You know, where the doors are around the side of the building? Take them in their puppy purse in there. Those bathrooms aren't usually the best, but you can always bring a small pack of disinfectant wipes with you and clean up a bit before you use it. It's hard to travel alone, with doggies or children. Been there, done that! I used to carry a really small can of Lysol when my daughter was little, spray the seat, wait a minute, then wipe with paper towels, before I"d let her sit on it. She'd be doing the pee pee dance the whole time, poor thing. But better than getting some bad germies. Good luck on your next trip Your dogs are gorgeous!

| Perhaps u can plan your trip w stops in petsmarts or something. They allow you to use their bathrooms, and I don't think they mind if you bring the pups in the bathrooms. I would really hate to have to use gas station bathrooms Yuck. |

| The potty break for mommies has been on my mind too. Usually I have someone else in the car to stay with the dogs. Going to a pet store is a great idea, but they are few and far between.

| If you had to, you could probably get a stroller and put a blanket over it so it looked like you had a baby inside (with your dog purse in the baby seat). |

| Never thought about going to a pet shop. Great idea! I've also thought about putting a baby bottle and rattles on the puppy purse to make it look more like a diaper bag, which is closely resembles, with their blanket hanging over the top (baby girl blankie). We recently traveled a long distance and I didn't have a problem sneaking the girls in the puppy purse. It's pretty tight with both in one bag and both not wanting to hide. I kept laughing because they did not want me to zip the top. I walked right by security at a rest stop and they did not say a thing, but it was around midnight. Mommy has learned to hold it longer than them! lol |

| Awww. Maybe get a stroller, because what will people be thinking if your toating around a purse with a baby blanket on top with toys off the side? Your holding a baby in your purse? Or there is a baby diaper bag and no baby? LOL. Try petsmart... I suggest stroller, and cover it. LOL. This is hard with just you in the car and two babes. |
