Biker Yorkies (Yorkies that love to ride) I heard there are a few other Yorkies on here that ride bikes too. Lets hear from them and post some pics of their travels. I always though that taking Lexie with me on the bike would bring a lot of off comments from the crowd, but it was quite the opposite. Everywhere we go, people love seeing Lexie riding with me. I've had people take pics of us while we were on the road and of course at events. It is rare that I am on the bike without her and if she hears the bike start up, she comes running. Funny part is, its a Harley, its not quiet, but this is the sound she likes. Now a vacuum or opening a plastic box and stapler, yes a stapler, those noises scare her. But put her in the middle of 100 Harleys rolling down the road and she is in Heaven. Now I always rode, but I was bikeless the first three years of having Lexie so it was not like she was born into this. She was 3 the first time I pulled up with the bike and took her for a ride. We don't have too many pictures of us on the bike, because we are busy riding, but share your Biker Yorkie story and post some pics. Last edited by Larryj24; 06-21-2009 at 06:45 AM.

Luv my 7 Furkids Donating Member | my first Suki, loves to ride. We took her to Sturgis, I think she got her picture taken more than Mt Rushmore....Now that we have more we have to take turns, the last 3 I dont remember if theyve gotten rides or not but they know the sound of a harley, the others though all have gone for rides. |

My Gracie HATES wind in her face!!! She is young though so maybe she will outgrow it. I tried to take her on a bike ride-the pedal kind and she hated it!

Lexie does not like wind in her face either, that is everywhere but on the bike. And hairdryers, she attacks them.

that is awesome!!! I see that Lexi does not wear doggles. But you have a windshield, so that probably keeps wind and flying stuff (like bugs) out of her face. She looks so happy in that little carrier! I take my Edie on my bicycle, and she likes it. I have a backpack that she loves.

Biker Yorkie We have just bought a motorcycle and our Yorkie went for his first ride yesterday.. He is now following my husband around like crazy..waiting for the next ride.. I carried him in my coat. He wanted to climb up on Joe's lap. What we need is something to carry him in..any suggestions. Mustang Sally

Here's a pic of Boo with Gracie, as a baby, getting ready for her first ride. DH & I each have a bag and carry one in each bag. They are together here only for the picture. Ride Time.JPG
