| I just recently flew with expressjet (keep in mind its a small aircraft and does not fly everywhere) but they wer extremely cheap. 300$ round trip including my baby. I took in the cabin with me, in her own bag, and put her under the seat with me. a friend of mine just flew delta with her dog but I believe there was a 100$ fee for the dog I'm not sure.. |

| Do you have WestJet? They let you take your dog on with you have to put under the seat.

| Most of the major carriers allow pets to fly in the cabin. Since costs have risen...I think most charge 100 bucks each way. Neither Southwest nor Jetblue allow pets in cabin.

| Haruka and I have tried several airlines.. if they let you bring your yorkie to the cabin... it is all the same to me.. but price can be different. That is how we usually pick. And of course we have to look at the destination. If the airline doesn't fly there.. then... you might want to try other etc... I personally think that charges are just so crazy!

| When we moved from AZ to MN we only flew an airline that let us keep the pets with us. I refused to put them in the cargo hold under the plane. At that time they only allowed two pets per flight in the passenger seating area and our pets were the two that went under the seats in front of us.

| I agree....i just paid 169$ roundtrip for Pasquale (100$ on jetblue and 69$ on airtran). Mind you, it was only 30$ cheaper than MY Ticket....and he doesnt even get his own seat. I just dont get it..you can bring a child that is 2 yrs old or under on a plane for FREE and they can sit on your lap..but i cant sit a dog that weighs less than a 2 yr old on MY lap??

| Most airlines have gone up in price a lot. I don't know where you are located but if you look up Virgin America they only charge $50 each way and the airline is really nice! I am flying on them to San Francisco next month.

| This is a chart that breaks down all the fees for major airlines in the U.S. and includes the different fees for bringing a pet in the cabin. http://i.slimg.com/sc/sl/graphic/u/u...rline-fees.pdf

| I have flown with Jetblue with a pet in the cabin, no issues and the flight attendents adored her. Was also fairly cheap, $50 each way. Not sure what the rate is now... |
