| anything special you do when boarding Latte is going to the kennel for three nights. Is there anything special you do when your baby gets boarded? She has been there before, and was fine, but I'm looking for an idea that maybe I hadn't thought of to make her comfortable. I'm taking her bed, her rug and regular dishes and I made special treats she really likes. |

| You may want to call the kennel first and make sure she can have her bed. I know the vet where I used to take my dogs would not leave anything in the kennel with the dogs (i never boarded mine there, but knew from going in the back to visit my sick dog when she had to stay overnight). Also, I would take the food you normally feed her, that way you won't have to worry about the kennel food upsetting her tummy. Slade has only been left at my best friends house and Laney has never been left anywhere without me (yea, she is spoiled!), but when I had to leave slade I left a shirt that smelled like me.

| boarding questions I know I can take her bed. The kennel is a huge run with a little door to outside. There's tons of room for the little darling. I always give them her food to feed her and my new treats I made. I'm going to encourage the girls to take her up front and carry her around. I think they will. Thanks for the ideas. |

| anything special when boarding I could send a greenie with her for each day. She really likes those. I'm also going to send her itchy medicine. I tell her that she can bark all she wants!! It helps me to remember that dogs have no concept of time. Five minutes is the same as five days. |

| I pack a little bag with beds, blankets, food, treats, and toys for mine when I have to board them. It's also a good idea to write your name on everything so you make sure to get it back

| I usually prefer to board him in someone's home and bring bed, food, blanket, food bowl, treats, toothbrush, toothpaste, a small bottle of shampoo, fur spray and toys and a small notebook with all his personality and habits in it.

| Maybe bring her a blanket that you like to cuddle up with - something with your scent on it to hold her over until you pick her up.
