| Wildwood NJ We will be taking a family trip to Wildwood Nj next summer and I was wondering if anyone has gone there with their yorkies.I am having some issues finding hotels that allow pets.Or if anyone knows of any reliable pet sitters in that area. Danyell |

| I've never been there, but I use this site to find pet friendly homes/condos. It looks like there are 4 in Wildwood. http://www.homeaway.com/search/refin...ets+considered

| I have heard of one Motel in Wildwood that is pet friendly, and its called Surf 16. Its in North Wildwood. I have never stayed there so I am not recommending it, I have only heard about it being pet friendly. http://www.surf16.com/

| The Ocean City Mansion is pet friendly and I love Ocean City - It is a lot more family oriented than Wildwood, and the boardwalk is nicer too (IMO) It is only about 15 min from Wildwood if you wanted to hit their beaches and boardwalk too! |

| Wildwood's boardwalk is much bigger and has many more options than Ocean City's boardwalk. My family has owned a house in Wildwood Crest for 12 years and I have ZERO complaints. I do have the house though so I am not too sure about the pet friendliness of the hotels. It is EXTREMELY family friendly as is Ocean City. Also, it is really close to Cape May which you absolutely have to visit. Surf 16 is definitely not anything to ride home about. I would look into renting a house or condo in north wildwood or wildwood crest. Wildwood crest is further from the boardwalk but the beaches are less crowded and the town is less crowded. Definitely avoid any streets that sound like trees.. magnolia, pine, etc. and presidents names i.e Jefferson The number streets 26-1 is probably the best as the boardwalk is in walking distance and you can take quick walks back to check on the dog. I love Wildwood and people who say otherwise (not being nasty just honest here) either have never been there or have not been in 10 years. I go to Ocean City and Avalon at least twice a summer.

| I would like to take Koda to a dog friendly beach. We go to Wildwood sometimes, but I haven't taken Koda there yet. I don't recall seeing many dogs last I went - I think dogs are only aloud on the boardwalk through certain hours, I'm pretty sure (correct me if I'm wrong!). . I guess thats something to look into.

| Good luck finding a place...and if you do please let me know how it is. I will be working up there during an upcoming IABCA show and had hoped to travel to Reading Pa from Vineland but I haven't found a place that I felt comfortable with, looking online anyway. If I remember correctly Wildwood isn't that far |
