Default Oh No!!!! Peeing on MY BED!!!1

I have a 7 month old Yorkie, her names Chloe and she is the love of my life. She has always been pretty good with going to the bathroom. We have a little cage with her bed, her bowl with water, and a wee wee pad. For the past 6 months shes done a great job, every now and then peeing else where, and she has a poop eating problem, but beyond that shes been good.

She has had 2 bed peeing incidents prior, once after a long day out I took her out of her dog carrier while on my bed and she peed immediately (she had to go!) and once while I was at work. We recently moved into a new place about a month and a half ago and expected accidents, but shes been very good, the only issue we have had is with my 9 year old Shih Tzu who has been spitefully peeing in Chloe's area. In the past two weeks or so Chloe has developed the habit of peeing on my bed. Shes done it at least 9 times in 2 weeks, yes 9 times including 20 minutes ago, right after she did it 2 nights ago, and the night before that, etc.

I need some serious help her. First off I think something has her mad, and second off I think its time she goes outside. I take her outside but she refuses to go. Is it time to stick her in the dog carriage over night and force her to hold it, and then let her go outside? I need help I love my baby and want her to be good again.

You can put her in her cage, until she learns not to use to the bathroom until you take her outside. Thats why I didn't let Aubrey sleep with me until he was fully potty trained. Just make sure the cage is big enough for them to turn around in, and thats it. If its too big then they will go in a corner and use the bathroom. Good luck.

I have the same problem with Tara, she was very good for past 6 months, she would go outside or on her pee training pad, but recently she has peed twice in my bed and first time even in her own bed, she hasn't done that even when she was 7 week old puppy. Why at 7 months then? She has also peed on me and my partner while she was in our lap. I don't understand, tomorrow we are taking her to Vet if she has not urinary infection or something. It's strange she has been doing pretty well except few accidents until now. What makes her to go in these unusual places she has never gone before. She always has her pad down to go on a pad or we take her outside.

They are just like children and they can and will 'regress' - I don't believe she is being spiteful, they really don't think like that, just that you need to 'refresh' her training memory as she is still young.

I suggest containing her and start with the potty training...again...until she is trustable

So Tara has had a urine infection, we went to the vet and she prescribed antibiotics for a week, she is a lot better now, and I can see the ATB is working well. Check with your vet, maybe Chloe has also urine infection, it's so easy with females as they have a short urethra and infection can be easily passed through. Tara is a lot more lively and has her appetite back
and we can see that the infection is being sorted. She goes on her pad now or outside and not as frequently. If you have Chloe pad trained, check how many times she peed on the pad overnight Tara usually has one or two pees overnight, but during infection she had small at least 5 overnight which is a lot for her age/ and sign that something's not right. Also the fact that it can't hold urine due to infection it will pee in unusual places, like bed etc. So have her checked, I am sure this maybe same problem like Tara's had. Good luck.
