Sad potty Training Issues

My baby Tumi poops and pee everywhere in the kitchen area when i leave her at home alone. I dont have the heart to put her in the crate for more than 4hr at a time. so today i left her in the gated kitchen area for 6hrs. When i came home she had poop everywhere on the floor and some in the crate area since she stepped on her own poo poo and it was everywhere. Does anyone have any advice? I do have my floor cover with pee pads but still she just drags and spreads her poop everywhere! I dont know if i should crate her longer..i am lost....

Have you tried limiting her to just one piddle pad where you confine her? She may be confused if the whole floor is covered with the pads, signaling to her that everywhere is the place for her to pee and poop! If she knows there's just one special place for her to go to, she may get the hint. I found that once I limited my pup to just one pad for the entire house he began to do much better. Good luck!

Talking My husband altered the cage

We were having the same trouble so my husband came up with a brillant idea and it worked wonders! Our lil guy was not making it through the night in the cage so we have the open cage that has doors on the side and the end. He found a box and attached it to one end with no way to escape. We laid a training pad in it and placed his toys and pillow in the cage part. He never messed in the cage again and we just changed the pad every morning etc. to make sure it was kept clean. The added benefit...he became accustomed to the pads and went staight to them when he was in our room! Now if transitioning him outside was as easy!? We can't get him to go outside! We even set the timer to every 30 minutes when we are home!

Default poo and pee

I know it is so hard to leave them in a crate all day but they really do get used to it and won't go in their crates....usually. I will leave Boston out for 2 hours and he'll poop in the house, but I can put him in his cage for 6 hours and nothing...it's crazy. I know it's hard I feel so bad everytime i leave for work, but leaving him in poop to walk in is even worse

that's so true..tumi will never go no.1 or no.2 in her crate but as soon as we let her out, she goes everywhere..hopefully, we will get her potty training under control soon

My little Bailey Blue used to do the same thing. I have one area for him to go do his "duties". He's usually pretty good about going to his area but when I leave the house that's when the anxiety sets in and he makes most of his mistakes. I try to "duty" him before I leave but it doesn't always work. I used to put two or three piddle pads down because it seemed like he was always missing the pad. I found that Bailey will not go on a dirty area and that if I only put one piddle pad down at a time, he doesn't seemed to be as confused and make as many mistakes. I hope this is helpful
