I definitely think he is marking. I just had Lulu spayed. The vet only wanted to wait until she was seven months to do the surgery being so small. She went in and came out with flying colors. Maybe for now if you need to use a belly band on him.

I think Marcel can handle the surgery.

That's really reassuring, esp. since our babies are the exact same size. I have an appt. for September, but maybe I'll see if we can get him in in August.

Let me tell you when I took her back for her suture removal a week later (mind you also spaying is worse than neutering) the vet was signing her praises. He was going on and on about how much of a trooper she was in recovery. She was back to herself the very next day. So if you have the money now then do it. I think that if the marking gets too far gone you can't get him to stop. We had that problem with our yorkie male Lex. Then with him even after his damn neuter he continued marking in the house. If I had it to do again I would have done it before he was six months old.

I would put a belly band on him. And from what I hear about potty training, peolple can quit too soon. They think their baby is trained when he's not and quit with the training. Later on he's worse than he was months ago. Now I'm sure that's not everybody, but something to consider. He's a male and could possible be marking. I would be very consistent with the belly bands/training until you're sure he's 100%!! Hope that helps. My knowledge from the knowledgable
